NewsOn January 19, 2010 Enactment of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 13, 2010
No. 21 “On Amendment of Enactment of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of November 29, 2000 No. 1755” (hereinafter – “Enactment No. 21”) entered into force.
Enactment No. 21 changed the expiry terms of certain types of licenses to be in line with the recently updated Section 4 of Article 14 of the Ukrainian Law “On Licensing Certain Types of Economic Activities” of June 1, 2000 No. 1775-III, as amended on December 30, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as “Law No. 1775”).
Enactment No. 21 sets forth as follows:
1. Expiry term of the below licenses shall be prolonged up to five years:
1.1. Production of industrial explosive materials; 1.2. Production of extremely dangerous chemical agents; 1.3. Mining operations in places which have public interest and are included into the State Minerals Fund; 1.4. Processing, production, implementing, certified testing, import and export of holographic protection elements; 1.5. Production of the securities forms, other official documents; 1.6. Transporting oil and oil products via trunk pipeline, transporting of natural gas, casing-head gas and gas (methane) from coal mines via pipelines as well as their distributions; 1.7. Supply of natural gas, gas (methane) from coal mines according to regulated or unregulated tariff; 1.8. Storage of natural gas, gas (methane) from coal mines in quantities exceeding the levels set by the license conditions; 1.9. Operations in the sphere of treating dangerous waste products. 1.10. Production of ethanol-including perfumes and cosmetics consisting. 2. The licenses for lotteries to be issued by the Ministry of finances while reorganizing registration certificates shall remain with no expiry date. 3. The licenses for other types of economic activities as envisaged in Law No. 1775 shall have unlimited validity term. Moreover, Enactment No. 21 provides for that the fee for receiving the license for certain types of economic activities shall be increased up to one minimal salary, as effective on the date of decision on license issue taken by the competent authority. |
